Things to do at the Old York Historical Society

YORK VILLAGE - There are many activities at Old York for the final days of spring and the start of summer.

POINT OF VIEW

The Old York Historical Society and its George Marshall Store Gallery have arranged tours of three artists' studios and gardens in a picturesque corner of Southern New Hampshire on Saturday, June 16. Download a copy of the flyer and a map at http://www.oldyork.org/ with various routes that will take you past old farms and homesteads, antique shops, luncheon stops and Pawtuckaway State Park. Call 363-4974 for tickets, which are $20 in advance, $25 on the day of the tour.

See Jeff Kellar/Judy LaBrasca in the Main Level Gallery and Peter Brown/Robin Cody in the Dock Level Gallery through July 15. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

THE MUSEUM SHOP IS OPEN

Stop by the shop to see the new season's inventory. Choose from a wide variety of unique offerings from books to fine décor, cards to jewelry and more. Members always receive a 10 percent discount and all proceeds benefit the Museums of Old York. The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Dec. 22.
