Lucky

Lucky

Lucky, that’s my name. I am at the shelter because my owner passed away. My brother has already been adopted. I am a three-year-old neutered male pitbull dog looking for a home and family who will love me and take care of me the rest of my life. Since being at the shelter I have gone with the Mobile Adoption Team to offsite events. I have gone to some shelter dog obedience classes on Thursdays. I would love for my new family to continue my obedience training. It makes me feel good to have a job to do. The staff takes great care of me. What I really am hoping for is for you to take me home. I am house trained and am a great candidate for crate training. I bark at strangers, but I am only protecting my family. Sorry, I can’t live with cats, but kids are O.K. I have lived with them before. They need to understand that I am big and can get caught up in playing and may knock them over. I get along with some dogs. If you have a dog already bring him or her to the shelter and the staff can do an introduction. I may look tough, but I am scared of vacuum cleaners and brooms. If you are looking for a dog like me, please make this our Lucky Day!

Butternut

Butternut

It’s my turn to get adopted and I’m going to need your help in making that wish come true. I’ve been waiting far too long for my forever home. At three-and-a-half years of age, I’m a stunningly gorgeous girl with my brown tiger stripes. I have a personality you’ll never forget; I’m full of spunk and energy one minute and the next I’ll be cuddling in your lap and falling asleep. I would like to live indoors and enjoy watching the wildlife through the windows. I’m really a great girl that would like to become a part of a family that will give me lots of love and playtime. Let's get together!

Blackie

Blackie

How do you do? My name is Blackie. My brother, Granite, and I came to the shelter after our family lost interest in us. I am a four-year-old mix breed bunny who would love to find my forever home. And it would be even better if I could find a home with my brother, but we both understand if we can’t. I would like to live in an adult-only home. It’s not that I don’t get along with children, but I haven’t had a lot of socialization. I know that sounds like I’m a crazy guy, but really I’m not. I am super sweet. I just didn’t get petted or held a great deal. I just know that in time and with lots of love, I will be the best bunny you have ever had! Why not hop in your car and come for a visit. I just know that we will fall in love once we meet! To learn more about having a rabbit as a family pet, please go to www.rabbit.org.
