The York High School Wrestling will play host to the 23rd Annual Maine vs. Nebraska All-Star Friendship Wrestling Match on Thursday, June 21, at 6 p.m.
Bicycling
The Bicycle Coalition of Maine is offering a four-hour training course for police officers covering such topics as a review of Maine laws pertaining to bicycling, helmet use and fit, rules of the road for both bicyclists and motorists and bike-specific issues in accident reporting and reconstruction.
Fishing
York Hospital, York Harbor Marine Service and the Coastal Conservation Association of Maine will present the first in what is planned as an annual York Harbor Striper Tournament.
Golf
With 11 points, Team 1, led by Captain Peggy Todd, came in first place the week of June 11 in the women's golf league at York Golf and Tennis Club.
