Designers at work on the 2007 Decorator Show House

YORK HARBOR - Old York Historical Society will present its 18th Annual Decorator Show House at Mayfair in this summer.

This York Harbor estate, built in 1903 by the silversmith H. Blanchard Dominick of Dominick and Haff of New York City, will feature more than two dozen spaces decorated by some of the region's finest interior and landscape designers.

To kick off the pre-show activities, the Old York staff and board of trustees hosted a reception at the home of Carol Coles, Show House chairwoman, to honor and introduce the designers chosen for this year's show house.

The designers include Michael Boehm and Kacey Graham of Boehm Graham, Yvonne Ramirez Steffenberg of YRS Interiors, Amy Thompson of Standard of New England, LLC, Diane Hughes of Diane Hughes Interiors, Dawn Dube of Audacity by Design, Lori Eberhardt-Rahill of Lori Eberhardt-Rahill Designs, Marcye Philbrook of Marcye Philbrook Design Studio, Nancy Howard of Ethan Allen, Marie Caswell of Redefine Design, Judy Dibble of Brookwood Designs, Jen Spencer and Tom Dunn of Stoney Brook Landscaping, Donna McClure of Ethan Allen, Melissa Kane of Inspired Interiors, Anne Cowenhoven of Accent & Design, Janet Swanson and Georgia McGowen of Fiona's Porch, Jacquelyn Nooney of JNL, Inc., Fotene Demoulas of Fotene Design Inc., Valerie Kyros of Inspired Interiors, Dibby Flint of The Upper Deck,  Kymara Lonergan of Amanda's Closet, Ltd., Jay Goldsmith of Goldsmith Fine Portraiture, Cindy Francis of CF Interiors, Barbara Heintz, artist, Nancy Twomey of Finnian's Moon, Michael Englehardt of Ethan Allen, Sarah Gatchell of Flash Design, Elaine Jackson of Diane Hughes Interiors and Julie Traverse of The Willow.

Work has already begun and will continue until the opening gala on July 13. The Decorator Show House will open to the public from July 14 through Aug. 11. Tickets for the gala are $60 per person, by reservation only, and include admission to the Show House.
