Under sunny skies at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 22, scores of local residents and their guests assembled at the town’s new Berwick Road transfer station to celebrate the opening of the facility. There’s a new face at the Ogunquit Playhouse beginning this month, though she’s a familiar face to fans of the Old York Historical Society. Family members, friends and supporters were on hand as Wells-Ogunquit Adult Community Education held its 2007 high school graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 12, in the Wells High School Auditorium. When residents from across the Seacoast gather for a protest march and citizens’ summit in Kennebunkport on July 1, local resident Herb Hoffman will be among them. The Barn Gallery’s mid-season exhibitions opened today, Wednesday, June 27, and will continue through July 29.
