Floyd
Floyd
Silly and certainly wiggly Floyd is a one-year-old mixed breed. If you’re looking for excitement in your life, Floyd is the dog for you. Ready to make a game out of everything that comes his way, he will fit in very nicely with an active family. Though Floyd is extremely high-spirited, he would like the company of children that can handle his exuberance. Floyd is very food motivated, which makes training sessions a blast for him. His obedience classes are a must and will make training him to be a well-mannered boy much easier. Floyd needs help building up his confidence and these classes will definitely give him a positive boost. He is ready to climb in your lap and kiss your face all over the moment you kneel down beside him. Floyd has shown exceptional social skills with other canines here at the shelter. Though he can come on very strong at initial meetings, he has made friends with most of the dogs he’s met. Clowning around is what Floyd does best; he brings a smile to your face just watching him entertain himself. A consistent and confident leader will help shape this boy into the magnificent young dog he really is.
Selene
Selene
More than happy to have a warm bed to sleep in and a bowl of food to eat, Selene came to the shelter as a stray. She settled in quickly with our kitties in one of our community rooms. Although she does not cuddle up to her feline friends, she lives comfortably with them. Selene is a cat that enjoys her freedom but never passes up a good scratch under the chin. Preferring to keep four feet on the ground, Selene would like a home where she can be well respected. This one-year-old bundle of unconditional love is ready to nuzzle her way into your heart, so come on by and meet her today!
Blackie
Blackie
How do you do? My name is Blackie. My brother, Granite, and I came to the shelter after our family lost interest in us. I am a four-year-old mixed breed bunny who would love to find my forever home. And it would be even better if I could find a home with my brother, but we both understand if we can’t. I would like to live in an adult-only home. It’s not that I don’t get along with children, but haven’t had a lot of socialization. I know that sounds like I’m a crazy guy, but really I’m not. I am super sweet. I just didn’t get petted or held a great deal. I just know that in time, and with lots of love, I will be the best bunny you have ever had! Why not hop in your car and come for a visit? I just know that we will fall in love once we meet! To learn more about having a rabbit as a family pet, please go to www.rabbit.org.
