Carol Adams Nelson
YORK - Carol Adams Nelson, 69, of Old Seabury Road, York, and Sayville, N.Y., died June 6, 2007.
Born January 18, 1938, the daughter of Clayton W. and Elsa (Stenberg) Adams, prior to her retirement she taught school for 35 years at Blue Point, Long Island, N.Y.
She is survived by her husband of 30-years James Nelson; stepsons James Nelson and wife Nora, and John Nelson and his partner Gerard, all of Bohemia, L.I., N.Y.; two granddaughters, Katherine and Hanna; two brothers, Clayton Adams and his wife Susan of Rochester, Mass., and Scott V. Adams and his wife Sue of Columbia, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, at Old Cold Springs Cemetery, Spring St., East Rochester, N.H. Friends are invited. Following the service there will be an open house at One Old Seabury Road, York, from 1 to 3 p.m. Neighbors and friends are invited to attend and casual summer dress is appropriate.
