SOCCER ALL OVER. York's Grace Duggan moves past a defender from the Derry Eagles during U10 action at the Harvest Cup soccer tournament held in York over the Columbus Day Weekend. The annual tournament, historically a girls-only affair, was expanded this year to include boys' teams for the first time ever. The resulting tournament included over 75 teams and more than one thousand players from throughout the Northeast U.S. and Canada. Tournament organizers estimate that the event brought more than 3,000 people to York over the weekend. Proceeds from the tournament go to fund the York Soccer Club, a nonprofit corporation that provides a full range of soccer programs for the youth of York from age 5 on up to high school.
