Article Image HIT PARADE. The Annual York Parks and Recreation Department Costume Parade and Halloween Hop just gets bigger and better, this year moving the Halloween Hop portion of the celebration to Village Elementary School to make sure there was plenty of room for the monsters, ghouls, princesses, dragons, kitchen appliances and even Red Sox stars to dance the night away. The event was held on Oct. 26, and organizers agreed it was one of the biggest turnouts yet. Pictured here, parade-goers make their way from Town Hall to Village Elementary School along York Street, including this robot, complete with a candy-o-meter on his costume.
