DIVISION CHAMPS. Over the Holiday Break, the York Fifth-Grade Boys' Traveling Basketball Team won their division championship in the York Annual Christmas Basketball Tournament. On Friday, Jan. 12, the York Wildcats (3-7) upset the Warriors (3-5) in Wells by the final score of 43-36.
Lady Wildcats edge Wells Lady Warriors, 46-44
The largest crowd of the season watched these two perennial rivals battle to the end before Nicole Taylor, Meredith Reid and Laney Yeomelakis combined for 16 of York's 18 fourth-quarter points to eke out a 46-44 win.
