YORK - York Little League will be holding training and skills development programs at the York Sports Center on Route 1 in the weeks ahead.
A baseball clinic is currently underway.
A softball clinic for ages 7 to 11 as of Dec. 31, 2007, will be held March 6, 13 and 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $25 per participant and covers all three sessions. Registration deadline is March 5.
Sign-up may be done via e-mail to Gary Orso at grorso@maine.rr.com. You will receive an e-mail in return to confirm your child's reservation. Please bring the confirming email and payment to the first session and have your child bring his or her glove. Bats and batting helmets are welcome but not necessary.
