YORK - York Little League Player Registration is open for all those interested in playing Little League baseball or softball during the upcoming season.

York Little League will be holding a softball skills development program at the York Sports Center on Route 1.
Softball Clinic for ages 7 to 11 as of Dec. 31, for up to 50 participants, will be held on Thursday evenings March 6, 13 and 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $25 per participant and covers all three sessions.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 5, and may be done via e-mail to Gary Orso at grorso@maine.rr.com. You will receive an e-mail in return to confirm your child's reservation. Please bring the confirming e-mail and payment to the first session and have your child bring his or her glove.
Bats and batting helmets are welcome but not necessary.
This year York Little League is requiring all individuals interested in manager or coach positions to complete an application to be returned to the league prior to March 3. Applying for either position does not guarantee that you will be selected; however, all applications will be considered based on a review of the information specified for each candidate and the completion of a background check required by Little League International.
