SOMETHING'S "BRUIN" AT YORK YOUTH HOCKEY. Retired Boston Bruin Peter Douris recently spent an evening practicing with the pee wee boys' team and the York Middle School girls' team. After a motivational speech, Douris ran through skating drills and shooting skills with the teams. The kids were ecstatic and tried hard to impress. After practice, Douris signed autographs and shared stories of his NHL past. Douris retired in 2002. In 11 NHL seasons, he scored 54 goals and 67 assists for 121 points in 321 games, picking up 80 penalty minutes. Also pictured are York Coaches Sean (Jumbo) Neal, Jeff Hird and Fred Wandland.
