Article Image CALLING ALL YOUNG ORGANISTS. The Young Organist Collaborative offers master classes and organ study scholarships for youth ages 10 to 16 in southern New Hampshire and southern and mid-coast Maine. Auditions for these scholarships will be held May 3 beginning at 11 a.m. at St. John's Church, located at 101 Chapel St. in Portsmouth, N.H. The Young Organist Collaborative encourages and supports young people in learning to play the organ by offering master classes and scholarships for lessons from September to May. Students must have at least 18 months of previous music study. Applications are required for the auditions and are due by April 23.
