GIRL SCOUTS GIVING BACK. Among the newest volunteers at the York Public Library are Natalie, Jenny and Brigitte, members of York Girl Scout Troop 137. The 18 members of the troop recently adopted shelves in the children's section as part of helping the library to "be a better place," as encouraged by the Girl Scout Law. Each week, a troop member is assigned to visit the library and straighten and organize her adopted shelf. This will be an ongoing service project for the troop for years to come.
