YORK - York High School varsity baseball played its last scrimmage against Marshwood High School on Monday, April 14.

The scrimmage was played in preparation for their home opener against Fryeburg, which was scheduled for Thursday, April 17.

York used five pitchers and many players tried different positions over eight innings.

While losing 11-3, seven of the runs were unearned.

Pitcher Jimmy Kennedy looked good in his final tune-up before starting the regular season, throwing three strikeouts and picking a runner off first.
