The Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce has sponsored the newest album by acclaimed area composer Tim Janis.

OGUNQUIT - The new Tim Janis CD, "Ogunquit, A Beautiful Place by the Sea," has arrived in town just in time for summer listening.
Sponsored by the members of the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce, composer Tim Janis's album presents a new collection of his best music that echoes the enchantment of Ogunquit.
With over 1 million albums sold, four national public television specials and 10 Billboard-charting albums, Janis has worked with some of the top artists in the music and entertainment business, from Paul McCartney, Billy Joel and Ray Charles to George Clooney and James Earl Jones.
Janis built his music career from the ground up, following an intense grassroots path. From over 500 performances at the beginning of his career, he grew a fan mailing list of over more than 70,000 people. His listeners sent him literally thousands of letters and e-mails describing how Janis's uplifting instrumental music helped them cope with difficult circumstances. It was this moving response from his audience and the inspiring stories of his listeners that in turn inspired Janis to devote his career to directly helping people through music.
A bonus poster of spectacular shots of Ogunquit by photographer Katherine MacDonald is included with the CD, illustrating why Janis was inspired to create such beautiful music.
