MONSTER MIKE WELCH AT THE INN. On May 31, treat yourself to an evening at Inn on the Blues in York Beach with the man who has been described as "one of the East Coast's best-loved Blues guitarists" - Monster Mike Welch. The show begins at 9:30 p.m. and cover is $6. According to his website, Welch was given the nickname "Monster Mike" by "Blues Brother" Dan Aykroyd at the opening of the first House of Blues club. He has toured North America and Europe his media credits include "Entertainment Tonight," "CNN" and "NPR."
