WELLS - The Wells Reserve is offering training sessions for people who enjoy sharing natural and cultural history information with curious audiences.
No experience or special expertise is necessary, and the Wells Reserve offers full training and the chance to shadow knowledgeable volunteers.
Each summer, volunteer naturalists and tour guides introduce hundreds of tourists and local residents to the many faces of the Wells Reserve. The guided tours focus on specific topics and usually last about two hours.
The Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve is dedicated to protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems of the Gulf of Maine through integrated research, stewardship, environmental learning and community partnerships. Laudholm Trust is dedicated to advancing the coastal research, education and stewardship programs of the Wells Reserve and to preserving its historic buildings.
