    TAKING ITS TOLL
Local residents and officials are closely monitoring the reports being issued by the Maine Turnpike Authority as some in town question whether the MTA is taking a serious enough look at keeping the York Toll Plaza right where it is and not jeopardizing local homes and land.

    OPEN FOR BUSINESS
While local authorities continue to seek the individual - or individuals - responsible for two arson fires at the Stage Neck Inn earlier this year, the York Harbor resort is now open for what the staff hopes will be the best summer season yet.

    SCHOOL NOTES
Relive the final days of the 2007-2008 academic year, find out the latest on the alternative to school consolidation and meet the newest York High School graduates.

    SOUTHERN MAINE CURRENTS
Special events abound in the greater York region in the weeks ahead.
