SMALL WONDERS. The Beth Ellis Cove Gallery in Ogunquit's Perkins Cove is presenting its Seventh Annual Small Works Show, continuing through July 18. This extremely popular show features small, framed, original oils painted on location in and around the Ogunquit area and on Monhegan Island by plein air artist Beth Ellis. Pictured here is "The Gatherers." Ellis's seaside gallery is located in the center of Perkins Cove on the second floor above Doc Square Clothiers. Ogunquit Playhouse's 2008 Children's Theatre Season includes "Disney's High School Musical," continuing Aug. 2 and Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. and Aug. 3 and Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. "Willy Wonka, Jr." will be presented July 12 at 10 a.m. to noon, with "Fairy Houses: The Musical" on July 26 at 10 a.m. and noon, and on July 27 at 11 a.m. "Treasure Island" will be presented Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. and noon and "Sleeping Beauty Kids" is set for Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. and noon.
