YORK - With 8½ points, Team 6, led by Captain Claire Isenstein, came in first place for the week of Aug. 4 in the Women's Golf League at York Golf and Tennis Club.
Team 1, led by Captain Paula Dargan, came in second place with 8 points, while Team 5, led by Captain Sandy Petrovich, held the third place spot for the week with 7 points.
Team 3, led by Captain Peggy Todd, received 5 points; team 2, led by Captain Spruill Kilgore, received 5 points, and Team 4, led by Captain Linda Davis, won ½ point.
With 9 points, Team 2, led by Kilgore, came in first place the week of July 28 in the women's golf league at York Golf and Tennis Club.
Team 4, led by Davis, came in second place with 7½ points, while Team 1, led by Dargan, held the third place spot for the week with 6½ points.
Team 6, led by Isenstein, received 5½ points; team 3, led by Todd, received 4½ points, and Team 5, led by Petrovich, had 3 points.
Year-to-date, Petrovich's team is in first place with 61 points, followed by Todd's team in second with 52, Isenstein's team in third with 48½ points, Kilgore's team in fourth with 47½ points, Dargan's team in fifth with 40 points and Davis's team in sixth with 37½ points.
