YORK - Kate Rhodes of New Castle, N.H., teamed up with York Golf and Tennis Club member Patrick Dempsey to win the Fourth Annual York Member Guest Tournament.
The event, held in late July, included a fundraiser to benefit Camp Sunshine, a retreat in Casco for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
The $5,500 raised will support Camp Sunshine and enable three York County families to attend the camp.
Rhodes and Dempsey defeated Brad Greenwood and guest Alicen Brown of Eliot in a hard-fought contest.
Consolation winners were Jade Green and Shane Cronin over Chip Coupal and Joanna Weston.
