Article Image GOLFER OF THE WEEK. York's own Andy LeConte, a Saint Joseph's College senior golfer, has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week. LeConte was the Monks' top finisher in the Bowdoin College Invitational, played at the Brunswick Golf Club on Sept. 13 and 14, with a two-round score of 165 (83, 82) to place 29th overall at the event. The SJC golfers will compete in the State of Maine Championship on Sept. 19 and 20, which will be played at the Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro.
