KITTERY - Don't miss the many events offered this season by the Rice Public Library.

TEEN PROGRAM

On Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m., the Rice Public Library will be showing the 1977 classic Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.  This will kick off the Star Wars Club. Look forward to sequels, prequels, documentaries and game nights focused around the legendary saga. This is primarily a young adult program, but all ages are welcome to join us. Admission is free to this program, and the film will be shown in the upper level of the Rice Building at 8 Wentworth St., Kittery.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS

Fall Storytimes are every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Taylor Building of the Rice Public Library at 2 Walker St., Kittery, for all toddlers and preschoolers and their parents. Please register in advance by calling 439-1553.

Join us for a fun evening at our Halloween Spooktacular on Oct. 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. This event will feature stories, a craft and refreshments to get everyone in the mood for Halloween. Please preregister for this program by phoning 439-1553.

BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP

The "Experiencing Maine through Books" group will be reading Tess Gerritsen's "Bloodstream." Best-selling author Gerritsen is a Rockland resident. 

Join this lively discussion group on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Kay Howells Room on the lower level of the Rice Building.
