ELIOT - The Waldorf Seacoast Association, operator of the Tidewater School in Eliot, has announced the election of four new members to its Board of Trustees.
The new members include Gregory Poitras of Durham, N.H., currently U.S. general counsel for Irving Oil Corporation and formerly a director at the Portland law firm of Perkins Thompson; Dave Tufts of Eliot, vice president and director of technology for iMarc, a website development firm in Newburyport, Mass.; Joni Chagnon of Eliot as the Parent Association representative, and Beth Lunt of South Berwick, kindergarten teacher and faculty chair.
Founded in 1999, the Tidewater School currently offers Waldorf-based programs from early childhood through third grade, and is located off of Route 236 in Eliot. For more information, visit www.tidewaterschool.org or call 439-7911.
