YORK - What could be more fun than dressing up your favorite pooch, kitten or other pet for a Halloween afternoon out?
How about an event to help other domestic animals in need?
York's own Ann-imals, a pet supply store located in the Meadowbrook Plaza on Route 1, is hosting a Halloween Pet Parade on Oct. 25 from 3 to 6 p.m. The event will feature trick-or-treating for the pets at several businesses in Meadowbrook Plaza.
Donations will be accepted and, together with 10 percent of Ann-imals sales from that day, all funds collected will go to help the animals in need of homes at the Animal Welfare Society, Safe Haven and Another Chance Rescue.
Call Ann-imals in advance to register at 351-2777 so that all costumed canines can be accommodated at this special event.
